How to connect TV, VCR and DVD player and RF adapter and cable box?
This is what I have. ** An old TV with cable only output coaxial cable. ** A digital cable box with all the options. ** A DVD player that has the red / yellow / white RCA plug, and a subwoofer and speakers surround sound (four, but I'm not using the rear speakers) ** A video with only black and yellow RCA plug. ** A RF adapter. What I am trying do is get the cable to play on TV … Being able to watch a video through the VCR … View a DVD on TV (until now I have sound but no video) … Using DVD Player speakers for the main sound (but that's just the icing on the cake, if possible) … Any guidance? I tried to follow the instructions RF adapter and DVD / CD, but I'm so confused now. I do not know the order of cable jack ->? -? -??. Thanks!
Alrighty Jim, let see what we can do here … RF Adapter Set aside, do not need it in the connection settings that I recommend. These are the steps: 1. Connect its output coaxial cable box to the coaxial input video. 2. VCR coaxial output of your Connecting to a single coaxial connection is your TV. 3. Connect the output of your player RCA DVD (Only white and yellow) RCA video input (to match the white and yellow). At this point, everything should work fine, except for having the speaker DVD player connected to work also for the sound while watching cable. To work, the DVD player must have RCA (red and white) inputs on the back. If so, connect a set of RCA audio cables (red and white only) from a cable box out of his (red and white only) to a DVD player input correspondence of colors. Everything is connected correctly now. In order to make things work, know that you may have to press a few extra button in some cases. In other words, to view a DVD, you need to have the TV to channel 3 or 4 (depending on the configuration of your VCR) and the recorder must be in an "auxiliary" channel or "entry" channel – something to that effect. To watch cable, you do not need to turn your VCR. One last thing – because the video is mono and not stereo, therefore, having only white and yellow connections instead of red, white and yellow, you should set your DVD player through its mono configuration ONLY if you want to have the sound leave the TV speakers instead of the speakers connected to the DVD player. I have an HDTV and digital cable Olevia recently, I have to do. I did an automatic search for channels and came with more than 500 digital channels, but when I search for channels after the highest channel is 265.1 I can not even go floodway 265.1 After research that says that I: Digital: 513 Analog: 33 How do I can get all the digital channels 500 which says that I have. Will I need a converter or an adapter of some sort? What is the problem?
There are more than one digital channel to a number! Example: Channel 12 also have multiple digital channels it well, 12.1, 12.2, 12.3 … thus now! I inspect all the channels you have and see if there are cases, as I just mentioned. You probably have 513 channels!
